This week - another suggestion. This time from dinner regular, friend and blogger of renown, Josh. While Josh shows considerable thought and nuance in his comments on Beijing and China - he is subject to the occasional complete lack of judgment - as displayed by him letting me comment on his blog.
Dinner this week, though, promises fine Sichuan fare and a great atmosphere. The Nan Xin Can complex being one of Beijing's under-hyped eating areas and great at this time of year.
I hope to find out more about the interesting translation of 天下盐 ('all the salt under heaven' with my limited understanding) as 'Lord of Salt'...
The Lord of the Dance, not to be confused with the Lord of Salt.
